This permit is issued pursuant to the Guidelines for Obtaining Clearance Certificate for the Importation of Generating Sets and Related Matters, 2011.

Mandatory Documents

Completed application form along with:

• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the latest three (3) years
• VAT Registration Certificate
• Commercial Invoice / Proforma Invoice
• Standard Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme (SONCAP)
• Proof of conformity with extant environmental regulations (emissions, noise, etc.)

Application Fee (Per Unit)

• 0.45 – 2.5 kVA: NGN 50
• 2.5 – 5 kVA: NGN 250
• 5 – 25 kVA: NGN 1,000
• 25 – 100 kVA: NGN 3,500
• 100 kVA: NGN 25,000

Renewal Fee

• 10% of the fee paid on the initial certificate
