NERC Invites Sokoto Residents For Parley and Electricity Complaints Resolution
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) held a road show ahead of a town hall meeting and a three-day on-the-spot customer complaints resolution forum in Sokoto, the Sokoto State capital.
The roadshow held earlier today, Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and Kaduna Electric.
While the town hall meeting will hold on Thursday 20th February, the customer complaints resolution session starts on Thursday and continues until Saturday 22nd February, 2025.
NERC invites electricity consumers and customers of Kaduna Electric in Sokoto State and its environs to the event to express complaints about electricity supply services and have them addressed immediately by a dedicated Kaduna Electric customer service team.
Officials of NERC, NOA and Kaduna Electric during the roadshow went through major locations such as Diplomat, Rijiya, Emir Yahya Road, Dogon Daji House and other parts of Sokoto.
The road show officials handed out flyers to enlighten Sokoto residents about the importance of attending the town hall meeting.
After the roadshow, officials of NERC and Kaduna Electric will take the enlightenment campaign to the media as they are scheduled to appear on a programme of Rima Radio for a live chat from 7 pm to 8 pm later today.
Sokoto residents are invited to call-in during the phone-in programme for responses to their enquiries.
