NERC Holds Hearing on Application for IEDN Licence by Green Power Distribution Nigeria Ltd

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission on Monday heard an application filed by Green Power Distribution Nigeria Limited seeking an Independent Electricity Distribution network (IEDN) licence.

The hearing at the NERC headquarters had the panel chaired by the Vice Chairman, Dr Musiliu Oseni.

The application for the issuance of an IEDN licence is to distribute electric power to three off-takers, namely: Good Band Industry Nigeria Limited, Longxiang Industrial Company Limited and Nitong Material Company Limited.

Following the final review of the application, the Commission convened this hearing to allow the applicant to respond to identified concerns on the grant of an IEDN licence.
