KSERC Officials Tap from NERC Regulatory Experience

In preparation for the formal takeover of electricity market oversight, officials of the Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KESRC) attended the Commission for a capacity-building programme, where they tapped into NERC's regulatory experience.

NERC Vice Chairman, Dr Musiliu Oseni, who received the six-man delegation, assured that the Commission was always ready to work with stakeholders to address the challenges in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry regarding licensing, health and safety, and customer complaints handling processes and procedures, among others.

The programme was designed to enhance the KSERC officials’ understanding of the electricity regulatory landscape.

The KSERC officials, led by the Chairman, Engr. Ibrahim Abdulwaris engaged with NERC officials on electricity regulation and the various roles of the divisions at the Commission.
