NERC Concludes Workshop for Electricity Reporters In Uyo

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission concluded its three-day Capacity Strengthening Workshop for Electricity Reporters in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Friday, 18th July, 2026.

The workshop equipped journalists with deeper insights into electricity market reforms, consumer protection, subnational electricity markets, and data-driven reporting, while strengthening collaboration between the Commission and the media.

Through interactive sessions with NERC experts, participants gained practical knowledge to support accurate, balanced, and evidence-based reporting on developments in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).
